Known as one of the World's largest Inland Deltas & a UNESCO World Heritage site, the Okavango Delta is one of Africa's most extraordinary wilderness destination, a vast oasis of winding channels, floodplains, and palm studded islands.
Every year from Dec - Mar, the Angola Highlands' summer rains flow more than 1,200km south through Namibia and Botswana, sprawling across the Kalahari desert, to form the Okavango Delta. Between Jul - Aug, the delta's waters are at its peak.
