Gili's Sea Turtles

Renowned for Sea Turtle sightings, Gili's Green & Hawkbill Turtles can measure up to 1 - 1.2m. The Gili Islands are a favourite spot for the Turtles due to:

- Its calm, clear and warm waters, providing safe shelter at their preferred warmer temperatures.

- Coral reefs offering an abundance of its favourite foods such as algae, seagrass and sponges.

- Coral reefs also serve as their "cleaning station", where small fish help to remove parasites and dead skin for the Turtles' shells and bodies.​
